• Minecraft Ps3 Update

Can someone help me? My boys played Minecraft for the first time yesterday on the PS3. The controllers worked perfectly, now, the 2nd controller isn't recognized by the game for multi-player. The controller's light is on (the #2 light) and when I press the P button, it takes me to the main PS3 screen.

So, I know the controller works.but when my son presses the Start button, nothing happens to let him join. I've looked at the game settings, etc and even made them default back to the 'normal' settings.
