I see that developers worked hard, tried to make ir bloody and brutal, but it didn't save game.
After 2-3 hours it becomes to bad-ported trash slasher, while first bloodrayne was quite the opposite. Same enemies, a lot of bugs, general complexity. All this make game just unplayable. I remember places where I couldn't get 10-15 minutes what to do next. And after long long time eventually found that it needed just. shoot with your hook in boss or in some thing.
+ there was a lot of hard almost impassable levels, where you meet bosses every 5-10 steps and there is no bots to replenish your health. Oh, f.ck this game, so many nerves lost here. 4/10 for physics of Rayne's breasts:) Expand.

Within ten minutes of starting this game up, I wanted my money back.
BR1 was a masterstroke of low-to-medium budget game design. Stylish, simple, and sexy, it had its frustrations, but was well worth the twenty bucks I paid for it. Even at BR1's worst moments, at least the controls did what I told them to.
Not so much in BR2. The only positive thing I can say about BR2 is that it sure is pretty. Can't jump, can't kick, and what on earth is the point of having fifty moves if none of them actually DO anything? At least in other button mashers, and definitely in BR1, you could plan a tactic or strategy to counter an enemy's move. Don't bother. I am in full agreement that this game should never have been released for the PC.

It was developed by Terminal Reality, and was strongly influenced by their previous game Nocturne.GameplayPlotThe game begins in 1933, in a place where it appears that the people believe in vampires, as all the doors and windows show crosses. It shows a man and woman running down a street. The woman trips, and the man pauses long enough to help her up, only to be dragged into a dark alleyway by a chain. His head is thrown from an alley at the woman's feet, with Rayne walking calmly up to the woman. The woman seemingly breaks down crying, but in fact only hides her face to reveal she is in fact a vampire.
After a brief fight, Rayne decapitates her and then takes off before a small army of vampires tries to catch her off guard. She drops a grenade on their position as she leaves. On top of the buildings, two mysterious men, who were watching the events unfold the whole time, are discussing their reason for being here. One reveals they are here to recruit Rayne, who is trying to find where her father is.
The other member does not want a Dhampir with the Brimstone society, regardless of the fact that she is only half-vampire and has fewer weaknesses, as the Society is trying to rid the world of Vampires (and presumably people with Vampire blood in them).
