Peavey Revalver Hp

Hi All!I'm considering to purchase the Revalver HP version since I only use the peavey amps in the revalver demo, but I have a few cuestions.1) In this version can I bypass the revalver cabinets? (obviously to load my own impulses in another program like space designer)2) I know I can not change the internal settings but, it is noticeable determinant the input voltage??? Perhaps, this was corrected in the version hp????since the input voltage leves in the demo was so low.Hope you guys can advice me!Greetings! Don't get HP unless you just want to jam on it. You cannot load your own impulses into the impulse module, you can just elect to not use their module and use another plug-in to load impulses though.

However, you are an a Mac so the options for freeware are almost nonexistent. Since you have Boot Camp I'm assuming you run Windows or you at least have the option to.
If you do everything in Windows you can take advantage of the few freeware impulse plugs like Boogex, Kefir, etc. The tweakability is a MAJOR feature for ReValver and IMO is a must-have if you want to try and do anything other than jamming with it. MKIII can be used for serious projects, IMO, but you must be able to tweak it, it's basically useless without the tweak options.006.
It might be the stupid way to go about it, but what I do is I just create two mono tracks into my DAW (Cubase or whatever), load Boogex onto each track (or 'space designer' or 'LAConvolver'), then load a different impulse into each instance of Boogex. You can then blend to taste with the channel volume or pan to your preference. The disadvantage to this method is having to record each performance onto 2 tracks simultaneously. Or record to one track but then you have to duplicate the track. Stupid, but I can't think of a workaround. Perhaps messing with busses can help.
From the Muse website:'. Is MuseBox just a small RECEPTOR?One of the primary differences between MuseBox and Receptor is that MuseBox is a much more closed platform.

Because we have designed it to be as easy to use as any hardware system, the system of user installable plugins will not be available on MuseBox. MuseBox is designed to be easy to use for the person who is not familiar with the world of plugins. The idea is to expose these people to the superior sound quality plugins offer, with the ease of use that familiar hardware keyboards offer. Musebox will initially ship with a core group of plugins that we have configured and tested to run well together. These cover all categories of sounds- Organs, Pianos, keyboards, synths, drums, ethnic instruments, etc, as well as quite a number of effects plugins.'

Looks like it won't do 3rd party plug-ins. But still, the value for money aspect seems really enticing. Guitar sounds, keys, drums and effects in one box. Hopefully their plug-ins rock. And they make more available in future. This caught my eye also when I saw it.So I have two quick questions:1) Is there actually any VST's out there that compete with things like the HD500, 11R and AxeFX??
I tried Scuffham and while it was kinda cool, I wasnt blown away. I still think my old HD500 sounded better. speaking of which, since this Musebox is close ended, does that mean you wont be able to get anything other than the Revalver for guitar??(I wonder if someone will invent some kind of hack to load Scuffham and other VSTs on it.)2) So it has VSTs for other instruments/synths/keyboards/etc. Assuming you have a Midi guitar (or guitar with GK-3) and a Midi-converter like the Roland GI-20, can you use a guitar to trigger the VSTS?? If Revalver and etc is good enough, you could essentially have a rackmount MIDI synth player instead of having to use a Roland floor unit, correct?? (I've seen some amazing Sax VST's out there, which is all I want. Of course, moot if you can't load in external VSTs I suppose).
