I had a '4pcs 960P Cams+8CH 960P NVR(No HDD)' unit for about one week. So far so good. The following is my experience:1. Good price.2. Very quiet NVR.

I can barely hear any noise from the NVR in any room. I think it is because the NVR doesn't have a fan - not sure it is good or bad.3. Good video quality during daytime and night.4.

Setup is easy. Cameras were already linked to the NVR once I received it.5. Robust remote view app on mobile devices - though its user interface could be better (see below).6. Great customer service - Daisy helped me over the phone for a few issues (see below). She even called me back and left me a few voice messages to make sure I am satisfied. Much appreciated! Now for the areas which could be improved:A.

It takes 3.5. In researching a wi-fi only camera system, I purchased four systems on Amazon, and returned three and kept this one. I purchased systems from OnWOTE, HISEEU, Firstrend, and Canavis. If you are shopping for a wi-fi security system with a good image, and great wifi reception, which is critical to the system working properly, this system from Firstrend is your best bet related to cost, and as others have mentioned the customer service.I will briefing describe the issues with the other systems, this is based on my opinion and the operation of the systems based on where we needed the cameras and systems to be placed. The OnWOTE system had just average picture quality, and not good night vision at all. In addition I would loose connectivity with cameras often. The HiSeeu system was OK, but I have a power supply fail repeatedly and contacted.

Easily installed and used the CasaCam VS1002 and am very satisfied. I really like that the camera and spotlight are both in one compact housing. The spotlight is very bright and helps improve the video quality significantly at night. I took some photos to show the video quality during the day and at night. When the light comes on at night, you can see the colors very clearly. Quite outstanding! The light can be set to go on with a timer on the included monitor or with the App provided. This makes set up and use more user friendly than a regular security light.

The power cord is hardwired, so there are no issues with dead batteries. I also found the inclusion of a rechargeable battery pack and 8GB SD card to be quite convenient. That saved me the time and expense of buying them separately. All told, I highly recommend these. So far we have been loving this security camera system for our house. It is very easy to install and friendly to use even for a not so tech-savvy person like me. Truly a plug and play product. When I opened the package, I was happily surprised by the free SD card that comes with the product (very thoughtful of the designer of the product to include this so users don’t have to scramble around the house looking for an SD card).

I am also loving the spotlight on the camera. I almost overlooked it at first, but it is so bright that it lights up my driveway beautifully at night! There’s also a scheduling function that I use to turn the light on automatically from 8pm to 11:30pm. Highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a home security camera.

From the thoughtful designs to the unbeatable price, this. This 7' monitor with spotlight camera system is exactly what I was looking for! The monitor itself works as a video recorder, so I can see recorded videos both on the monitor and on my phone through the free app when I’m not home. The 2-way audio function is also extremely user friendly. The monitor beeps when the camera detects motion, so we can always keep an eye on visitors and even greet them before they walk through the door! I’m especially impressed by the image quality—even in the dark, images are crisp clear.

The spotlight is a brilliant feature. What a bonus to an already impressive camera system! Last but not least, my favorite thing about this product is how easy installation is!

It was literally a 2-step process: plug in and use. Love this security camera system! Did a bunch of research on amazon reading the reviews and I narrowed it down to this system, SANSCO, and ZOSI system. I saw that the ZOSI, while had many good reviews, had a good amount of customers complain about the cameras not working. I know it's normal for all manufacturing companies to have some defective products. I was only able to find one review for the SANSCO where a customer stated a camera didn't work.

I looked up the questions section and somebody asked if they could replace the one camera that didn't work. A SANSCO rep said to email maisideal@outlook.com and request for it. I decided to do the same thing, but searched the email to make sure it was legit. It appears to be so. You can google it for yourself and see.I emailed the address above and Janet.

Easy to set up, we ran cameras to the four corners of our house. Only took about 40 minutes to install the hardware and set up the DVR system.

Cables were long enough and the DVR comes with a hard drive which is really nice because a lot of systems don't. Great picture quality and the IR works very well. The DVR is small enough to be hidden in a cabinet.

Cameras are good quality and weatherproof - we've had several rain and wind storms since installing and there have been no problems with the cameras. We purchased this system since we live in rural area and have problems with 'lookie loos' trespassing. Camera quality is good enough to clearly see license plate numbers on approaching vehicles and to identify people's faces. The system can also be expanded to include an additional.

The system is plug and play for the most part. The hardest part is pulling the cables through the attic. I broke 2 wires but luckily I purchased the extension cables (Masione 4 Pack 100ft BNC Video Power Cable Security Camera Wire Cord for CCTV DVR Surveillance System) with the bundle on Amazon. I was able to use those to replace the cables I broke.

Once everything was hooked up, I had to change the video type from PAL to NTSC in the setup menu and everything worked great. I couldn't register through the app on my phone but registration was easy on the web site. My wife and I are very happy with the system and the price. Bought this wired security system to install at our house, today this camera captured a crazy person who in my mind was going to attempt to force get way into my house until she realized I was home with my wife. I had previously purchased WiFi cameras but “wireless” only meant I had to run power to the cameras which was actually more difficult than running a regular cable like these do. They were easy to set up and the app is easyish to use. The hard drive records 8 full days on loop with all cameras attached.

I did the set up and it looks pretty good on the side of my house you can barely notice them. The wires were very easy to slide up under the crease in my vinyl siding making a professional install easy to do by yourself with a drill and some silicon caulk. I like the packaging, and how easy it was to set it all up to work. Manual is included just in case you are struggling. A lot of different options like: Manual control Recording(basically it will record all the time - 24/7 365), Stop recording(will not record at all no matter what), preset recording (you choose dates, days, time when and which camera you want to stay recording or not).

Also there is an mobile app to stay connected from anywhere. Each and every camera (there are 8 of them) has adjustable top part for preventing rain getting on the camera and it is very convenient even though cameras are water-resistant (and yes it doesn't block the visibility of the camera). The best part - 1 tb memory hard drive is coming with it already! There is nothing, and I mean nothing not to like about this security 4 camera system. Beginning with the well constructed camera bodies, amazing finish.

Once I ensured the cameras all connected to my TV, I began to located them around my home. Picked the first location over the pool, next chose a spot overlooking my fruit trees, then moved to the south side of my home camera location I picked connected right away. Forth location was more difficult to pick because of the remote power source.

Finally chose near the front door again dead easy. Emailed Johnny (the tech contact) with a question next day answer addressing my needs small tech issue solved. Super, super happy with this purchase I will recommend this highly to my friends who are looking for a security system for their home.

Great value so go ahead get this system perfect for any location. We recently purchased this system to provide some monitoring of our home. The picture quality of the cameras is very good. Even with it dark outside, you can clearly see what is happening.

One thing we learned though is that consider how the camera is pointing. The first time I installed a camera, it was angled such that the side of building (white painted siding where it was installed) was in the picture. At night, the fact that the side of the house was in the camera picture, prevented us from being to monitor our front door. Once I moved the angle of the camera so the adjacent siding was 'not' in the picture, we got a perfect night view.I do recommend that you figure out which camera is #1 through #4 so you set them up around your house in the order you want.

Not a big deal, but. First, setup was not too bad, if you’re handy, it will be easy to install and program. Utilizing existing co-axial cables and stabilized power supply. One thing I really like about it is it comes with everything, so you can set it up directly without make additional trips to store for some cables/cords.

Images: The images displayed on the system are very clear and more remarkably. In a lower light environment they will switches to black and white. So the cameras apparently have very good light sensitivity. View: These cameras have phenominal quality and the field of view is so much greater than my older cameras.I've only had this system for a couple of weeks, and don't even have all of the camera's connected yet (though I did test them). In a year, once I can speak to longevity, I will return to give an update to the product. Absolutely the best $250 Ive spent in a long time.

Stupid easy to install and setup, including the smartphone app.Picture is razor sharp.Installed my system with a dedicated power supply and custom length rg58 siamesed cables. Did not use any of the supplied wires or power adapters. Only used the DVR and cameras.Put the DVR and power supply in basement and ran all cables to them.Got a long HDMI cable and long USB cable so I can monitor and control everything from my nightstand while laying in bed.Everything works fantastic!!! I bought the 8ch 1080P Video Security System for my house.

The system was so easy to install, so I don't need to call the expert and come to install it. Save lots of money:) The cables are long enough which can reach outside and inside of the building. The cameras provided 720P HD videos and the image is so clear so I can see the details. 1TB HDD with H.264+ is also great which reduce video size and save my videos longer. Using my iPhone and iPad to view the live and playback the video makes my life easy. The reasonable price and good quality system. I really satisfied the product.

I'll be honest with you. Since i have gotten older I jhave become a skeptic. I wanted a security camera system and I thought it would be a pain to set up and would have a bunch of bugs etc.

But I got these, decided the locations, got power to these areas plugged them in and they just about set up themselves and have been working great since. The app i downloaded to watch them from my cell phone is very good and reliable. I went on vacation and was able to look at my cameras. The company also has a website but it hasn't worked out all that well for me, but with the cell phone app it doesn't matter.

The farthest camera from the NVR unit is about 35 feet and passes through 2 walls but with a little adjustent it works great. The picture is very good. Just recently I was in great need of security cameras for my new start-up business.

Super Net Surveillance Dvr To Computer Tv

Besides night vision, video recordable, My additional requirements are: I need 12 cameras but for three separate locations for my start-up business; it should be wireless because I can’t afford the cost asking licensed electrician to drill the holes and to connect; and these cameras should be HD; they should be weatherproof. That is reason I bought three sets of 4CH 1080P HD Outdoor Security Cameras Video System because they are exactly what I want! Finished Installation at one location and it is so easy and images are crystal clear.

Good cameras! My previous one was wired where we had to hire technician to connect camera to cable individually.

I am glad this one is wireless. We just need to plug each of them into near by power outlet witch we had those outlet installed from last time. We installed these system is to scare away the mean neighbor from leaving their dog waste behind by my side walk while they walked their dog daily.

Also, I used to have ADT to monitor my house and it costed a lot to me annually. By switch to this we are no longer paying annual fee to monitor our house. I would suggest to have your outlet covered and secured so that they will not get wet in the raining day just to be sure.

At least that’s what we did to ours and so far it worked very well. This system, albeit, is rather cheap on the price scale, does really well. Its super simple to set up and with just a few clicks your in the main system setting it up. Its really simple to navigate.

Ive always had cameras on my properties and now, in a new home, it must have cameras as well. I got the 16 channel option that came with 8 cameras. Its up and running and configured to the way I like it. I like that you can set up zones for each and every camera that triggers the recording function. Setting up the internet connection was a bit of a pain as I had to get a netgear switch to be able to plug the cat 5 cable into but after that, 10 minutes later and I was viewing and getting notifications on my phone. If I end up needing more than. I purchased this security camera system to replace my older system.

Right out of the box, i could tell a huge difference. The equipment had a hefty feel to it. It was metal and solid.

The wiring which came with the cameras was a lot thicker, don't know if it was the gauge of the wire and/or extra insulation around the wires. It was a lot heaver, which made me feel good. The live streaming camera pictures were beautiful, couldn't get any better! Everything was easy to use and there were lots of options. You can remote the videos on your phone.Call the technical support and they will send you the videos about setting up the system.Great system, it's also really cheap, I will order one for my daughter. I'm really happy with the purchase and would definitely recommend this system! The system comes with everything you need. There are four cameras, the DVR unit (I got the one with built-in storage), and all the cables and power cords.

And there are some cool extras, like a USB mouse and a remote to navigate the DVR.Set up took about 2 hours to complete. It's really not difficult to do, it's just a matter of setting up the cameras and running the camera cables to the DVR unit. We used the screws that come with the cameras to install them and drilled a hole to run the cables into the house. There is plenty of cable length so you're not limited regarding where you setup the cameras. The cameras have a single cord that does video and power. The cameras look really sturdy and reliable. They come with a base with three. We spent days researching video security system on Amazon.com before finally decided to buy this Hiseeu 8-Channel WiFi Security System.

The kit contains 4 high-resolution video cameras, a NVR, antennas, a mouse, HDMI cable, mounting hardware and more. Setting up was surprisingly easy, even without having to read the manual.

Surveillance

We set up the system first before installing the cameras in order to test them. Everything works as expected. The cameras appear to be of solid construction and the video quality was better than we'd hoped for. Some features we were looking for were video quality, wi-fi, night vision, hard-drive & cloud recording and audio. The H.265 data compression will allow the 1TB hard-drive to record up to 1 month, which is enough for our purposes. Of course motion sensor, alarm, all-weather etc. Are also our requirements, but we have not tested those functionalities.

So I wanted to put up some security cameras just for some added protection. I went with this system because it came with 2 1080p cameras and a 1080n dvr with a 1tb hard drive.

Overall the system works great. Awesome picture quality in the day and great picture at night. I want to say it was easy to install but there is always going to be an issue with finding a place to make a hole to run the cable. After it was all set up I turned it on. Out of the box the picture quality was just Ok. Only a few issues with picture being to bright or fuzzy.

I then went through the menus and found all kinds of setting to mess with. After a few days and nights of adjusting and a lot of online reading I was able to get the quality up to. This is a long review but worth the read if planning on purchasing an OOSSXX WIFI based camera system. The initial setup and function test of the camera system took maybe 15 to 20 mins at the most and everything worked great right out of the box. Before purchase I read all the reviews and came to one strong conclusion that the system is good quality but the people installing it did not quite understand how WIFI works. It seems many just don’t understand how critical it is to place the NVR in the optimum place that fits your particular home. It literally took me almost a week to play around and find the proper place.

This NVR system is 1080P so yeah it needs a good signal connection to the camera to maintain the data rates for that high-quality image. What I have found is that if you don’t have a minimum of 3 of the 4 signal bars then your connection will not be good enough to prevent the camera to drop off on and off briefly during the day. First step is to place, tie wrap or tape the cameras in the place you would like them to be after doing the initial system setup and test to make sure they are working properly.

Make sure to connect them with a bunch of long extension cords so you can move them as necessary for better signal later. Once your cameras are all placed the system is powered up you need to find the best location for your N. Easy setup, plug and play. No need open port on the router or using any type of domain to access from the web/smartphone. All in one system, came with pre-installed 2TB Hard drive. I think with this capacity can record up to 2 month with 8 camera 1080p.

I order this set of camera for my nephew's house. He likes it so much. I only installed 4 cameras for him.

He will be adding 4 more by his own. No professional installation required. Resolution was great with the 1080p.The IP Pro app on the iPhone very user friendly. User interface was very simple and clean. Easy to operate. I also found the signal repeater was a great function.

Each camera can act as repeater and pass the signal back to the NVR. This way you don't need to put your NVR at the center of the all camera. This review covers a Hornbill Security Camera System that includes 4 - 1.3MP waterproof IP66 cameras with 1080 resolution and a NVR with 8 channels and 1 TB Hard Drive. I already have an 8 channel system from another provider but I wanted to cover the east side of my home which includes the driveway. I replaced a couple of cameras that were working only intermittently due to the distance being over 65’ from the west side of my home where I have my office and where the DVR for that system is located. With this system I am now able to cover those areas all the time due to the strong signal which eliminates significant gaps in coverage.I am very impressed with the solid coverage and especially with the camera clarity – both in the daytime and at night.

I have attached 3 photos that provide a good representation. Had a Lorex system that after only 2 years needed to be replaced. Well, after installing this system, WOW, what an improvement! The camera images are far superior, the night vision works very good. The NVR is fairly easy to navigate for a semi savvy person. The cameras are not cheap plastic, during installation it was very obvious I had purchased a good quality system. The only issue I had was 1 of the cameras had defective night vision, we reached out to the seller and this was a very pleasant experience.

A replacement is being sent overnight at no charge, and the representative that we dealt with was very pleasant and prompt. I rely heavily on reviews when making a purchase on certain things, I researched A LOT before settling on this system, and we are very happy with this system and the customer support. The system is relatively easy to use, it has a good app that goes with it and the cameras are very good. I honestly have no major complaints except I think it can do a little better with instructions, I think someone should make a YouTube video to review these things of how it works and how to install.

The second gripe I have is that when I first got the system, it had trouble receiving certain cameras. Support wasn't able to give me an answer, but I found out the issue is that the camera system is running into interference with all the wifi that is around my house. The intermittent connection drop was taken care of once I switch to a different wifi channel. So make sure you check for that if you see your camera dropping in and out randomly. Bought this for my home and garage. Excellent picture day and night. Was very simple to install.

It's literally plug and play with no hassle's. Downloaded the ip pro Android app and entered my cloud id and everything was good to go. Your cloud id is shown on camera 4 video screen on the bottom. I can view live and take pics and record video from my phone when needed.

For phone/tablet/computer live feed you will need internet and your NVR connected to your modem. The NVR has VGA and HDMI output to connect to a tv or monitor. Was very very simple to install and setup. MAKE SURE you use the NVR power cord on the NVR box or your HDD won't work properly, I accidentally used a camera power cord on the NVR box and the HDD didn't have the power it needed to work. Swapped the cords. I ordered this item as a gift for my Aunt that lives alone in the Caribbean, from the get go Customer Service Rep.

This product works great. It has more functionality than the sellers seem to realize based on the lack of answers to questions that I asked before receiving. The question that in my opinion that is most unanswered is, Is there a way to extend the network for further out cameras, as these connect back to the NVR unit rather than to your home/office WiFi connection that you can extend by installing more access points. This question was not directly answered when I asked it, and searching thru other questions, they seem to suggest buying an 'extended range antenna' that I suspect is an antenna on a cord that you place closer to the NVR unit. The functionality that this product offers that the sellers don't seem to understand is, the cameras are able to function as repeaters as well, up to 3 units out. So you can have one camera.

This product is not a professional product.I have a larger home, approx 3200 sq ft, two stories and want cameras all around my house. I bought this as a cheap alternative to a more expensive system based on all the positive reviews. Sadly, this system doesn't cut it.Anyone who's mounted cameras on their home know what a hassle/job it is. You need to cut holes to feed the power cables into the home/attic and then make sure power sources are available.

This is a significant investment in time only to find out that this camera system really isn't all the powerful.Yes this is easy to set up however the wireless feature of this system is limited at best. The range is very low on these cameras.

I have one camera two walls away and only 35-40 ft out and my NVR can barely detect it. Registering a rate of 11-13. This is my second system purchased from SMONET. It’s a very nice set of wireless camera system. The price is very reasonable and the video quality is definitely clear.Reminder, Do NOT forget to buy a separate SAT hard disk with 3.5-inch interface. It’s very easy to install hard drive following user manual.Don’t buy the wrong type of hard disk. You also can send e-mail to SMONET customer service to get right hard disk link.Cameras also have an articulating base, which allows you to mount on ceiling or wall and still be able to position the camera in any position you would like. The Recorder has a great user interface, and there are applications to view your cameras on PC, Android and iOS.Once you overcome the initial learning curve, the rest steps are easy and straight-forward.

The wireless connection works great.Additionally, Grace is very patient and professional, she always helps and replies. Install was pretty easy. Although, the small screw nut that you loosen to adjust the camera come off very easy. And are lost in the grass forever while you’re on a ladder. IF you aren’t careful. And those nuts are so small it’s impossible to find a replacement. So you just use duct tape to hold one of your cameras.

But anyways, besides losing that nut off the small screw you use to adjust the camera it all went up pretty easy within an hour. I also downloaded the app and can watch footage from anywhere now, i still cant figure out how make it send notifications on motion detection.

If it works i still havent figure it out yet. The night vision works really well in my opinion, if something is out there in the pitch black dark you will definitely see it.

This Annke 8 channel Security Camera is fantastic. This Security camera is very easy to use compared to the other types of security camera. The instruction are very clear in how to install the cameras and it shows very clearly how to set up and start it. It was really fast installing all the things and making the computer ready. I am very amazed on the quality of the picture at this low price. The quality of the cameras are way better than the last ones that I brought and also more expense than this one.The brightness of the screen makes the camera very good and easy to see the outside. It is also fantastic that there is a app that I can download to connect with the system so I can see this all day and not worry about anything.I highly recommend this Security camera!!!

OK so first off I used to own an Arlo 5 camera set, it was a good set for the most part but if you have spotty WiFi like I do then you understand why Arlo is not a good choice and why I had to sell my set. I used to open the Arlo app and try to access a live view of my cameras and it would literally take about 30 to 45 seconds to load.

By then anybody trying to steal from you could make off with your stuff. Another issue I had with the wireless cameras is that they would lag and miss up to 10 seconds of recorded motion. My solution to this problem was to sell off my wireless Arlo cameras and buy a new wired set of cameras. I shopped around a lot for about two months and finally settled on the Reolink.

Picked this up and installed 2 cameras so far today. There has been a lot of reports of people rummaging through cars in my neighborhood recently. I haven't been hit yet, but at least now I can identify someone when it does. Hoping the cameras act as a deterrent though.Overall setup went pretty well, but there were some frustrations. The cameras really are plug and play, there's really nothing to setup there except I switched mine to 4k resolution right away. They are super easy to install, and the drill template really helps! I Only had up to a 3/4' drill bit for the cables, but it was enough, just takes a little extra work to get all the cables through.I have the DVR set to record 24/7, but haven't had much time to figure out just how much space it takes with 2 cameras on 4k resolution. I didn't realize.

I was looking at systems that although would require one wire per camera to be run, it was not much different in my situation to do that vs over a network and be able to assign IP addresses, etc. So again for simplicity. I tried this Reolink system. Fast forward a couple of weeks and besides the four included cameras, I have added a fifth fixed and a PTZ as well- all Reolink. For me I would plug them in with a short cable, make sure they work and then send them out to be installed. For a monitor I used a leftover 20' as mostly I use the app to access the unit.So only complaint is that I wish the monitor output could be set to sleep after a period of time if you want it to.

For me that would be a good feature to have. I was looking for security surveillance cameras for my aunts retail store and thought of buying arlo due to its wireless/wifi capability which gives you the option to hookup anywhere you like however later found that you need to pay extra $ if you go beyond 5 cameras. I stumbled on this DIY camera system because it has 8channel 1080p with night vision and 1TB hard drive DVR along with email notifications. Package has 4 720p dome cameras and it doesn't need monthly subscription or extra $ to increase the channels like arlo, which gave the option to add 4 more cameras at no extra cost.

Even though we didn't add additional cameras, hope it works.I can't complain on the quality for the price you pay. If you already have inlets/outlets for the cameras then installation is super easy else i would suggest to DIY installation early fall/spring/summer as you. So far so good! The picture quality is better than I thought especially for the price! Night vision works great, live view and playback the video on my iphone, easy download the app from App Store. Include 4 of 3.6 mm lens with wide view angle cameras, can use indoor and outdoor with weatherproof, the system include 1 TB hard drive and capacity to 4 TB, it also Supposed HDMI and VGA output, easy use USB to backup very convenience.

The only thing I would love to wish is use with a remote instead of use mouse. It's a good surveillance system at a price of less than $200. It comes with absolutely everything you would need to set up a home surveillance system: a main DVR unit with 1T hard drive supporting all basic surveillance functionalities, four 720p cameras with 60 f cable each, and installing screws. The system can view real time motion pictures with a monitor (not included) and playback/review scripts recorded in the DVR hard drive. The recording can be set up by time schedule, by motion detection. Email alerts can be sent out when motion is triggered as well. The system has remote monitoring capability by connecting the internet, but I have not yet to try that out due to lack of detail instructions. The 4 cameras came with have decent quality picture during day and night.

It's nice about this system can support 4 more cameras, up to a total of 8, which is. I like this camera's HD quality images, if not better than the higher priced ones out on the market,2. Night vision is very good. I can see my white car pictured (from my cell phone) at that spot at night with no problem.3.

Their free Amcrest View Pro phone app my Android phone is easy to use.4. I can view the cameras from my desktop PC using Google Chrome web browser.5.

Comes bundled with all the mounting accessories to mount on a wall. Accessories also help weather seals too.6.

POE connection works well.7. Integrates with my NVR recorder well (not required).8. This bullet type feels sturdy and premium build. It's also smaller than some other bullet cameras that I've seen.CONS:1. Motion detection seem tricky to set up.2.

Viewing over PC requires plugin download.I'm in IT person with understanding of networking that have installed over 20 IP. I live in an area where it's not safe to leave a bicycle even in the backyard, my 3rd bicycle has been stolen over the last 3 months. I was researching which surveillance system to buy, first my attention was captured by Google Nest cameras system, however, I realized there was a subscription fee which I really don't want to pay.

I found this surveillance system 2 weeks ago and ordered. Last week it arrived and Install it in the backyard, front yard and in the, and even one camera left to install somewhere, so I installed it in the kids' room. The quality of the video in the night is pretty good. First I was under impression that 1TB of space wouldn't be enough, but then I realized it's for a week of the video recording, Also as you can see in the photo the hard drive is.

For the price, this cam set does what I need it to do. Record all the time, playback anytime, all from a monitor using a mouse.

Anything more expensive than this is not worth it. The hard drive that came with the unit was defective, but customer service was lightning fast and sent me a new one.Pros:-records at least 1080p-night vision was really clear at night. Could see what the human eye can’t see-customer service was quick and to the point-cables were longCons:-Navigating the interface was confusing and not intuitive-Software used to interact with the user, including computer program and phone app is outdated and often doesn’t work-Manual is lacking a lot of details-No indicator that lets me know the unit is recording, because of this, it took a fair amount of time to realize it wasn’t recording because the hard drive was defectiveTips for improvement:-The engineer should certainly revamp. I bought this security system for our house and property. My wife is sick battling brain cancer. We head to hospital 200 miles every week. This review is for the Annke 8 channel 1080N/720P system with 4 AHD 720P bullet cameras with 1TB hard drive.

I got a lot better system than I expected for the cost of $219.00. My system arrived in perfect shape with everything needed to install and setup included in the boxes, no items missing. The quality of this system is evident right from the beginning. The cameras are made of metal and the cables are of very good quality.

The DVR is a very nice unit and looks very nice also. The instructions are easy to follow and easy to understand. This system is truly just plug and play.

I ran the camera cables thru the attic and dropped them thru the ceiling in a corner of the room with the DVR. The cables are labeled on each end as being the DVR or camera end, so just pay attention.

This was a replacement for a webcam I had running through a PC with software. The PC died, and I was looking for a more stable system with more cameras, and of course inexpensive.I have had this system running for almost 2 months. Here are some observations with my experience.- 1TB drive is plenty of space for my needs.

I currently have 5 cameras on it (4 included plus my old webcam). I am running only motion detection, not constant recording, and I still have half of the drive space left after 2 months.- The motion sensitivity is still very sensitive even at the lowest setting.

At times I think it is just constantly recording anyway.- At the time of purchase, the cameras were 900TVL, and now they are 720p. The cameras I have are not high enough quality to catch a license plate number. Replaced a defunct 10 year old DVR with this unit. It is a world of difference. This new technology or maybe this company is fantastic.I have 8 old cameras already mounted, these are conventional hard-wired with power supply type cameras. It took all of five minutes to hook up this new DVR.

Simply plugged in the cameras, monitor wire and internet wire. Worked perfectly. Beautiful crisp images. Then I downloaded the Tiger app onto my iPhone and with a few tries entering user and password - bingo all the images came up on my iPhone. That could never happen with old mode DVRsl.I set notifications on in the iPhone Settings and I get pinged when motion is detected from only the camera and areas I have set in. Also can set detection strength and many other specific settings you prefer.I called and emailed Tiger to.

Purchased TIGERSECU DVR to replace a dead Lorex system DVR. Installation was easy, though BNC connectors tough to put on. Came with a great instruction manual. Upon booting up the DVR, all the cameras were displayed in black and white. Unhappy at that point, I went to contact the company, but noticed that their support line was Monday - Friday. So, I sent an email, expecting to receive an answer the following Monday. Almost immediately, I received a response telling me the Lorex cameras were not compatible with the TIGERSECU DVR.

Wasn't sure what to do at that point, but was offered a good deal on their cameras. Not much later, I received another email asking if I'd like to try an beta update on the firmware - no guarantees that it would fix the problem. Instructions were provided, a.ZIP file provided. I purchased this to replace the original DVR that came with my Amcrest cameras.

I had this unit for about five months and one of the video in ports on the back went bad. I tested it with a new cable and new camera and it was down for the count. I emailed the folks at Tigersecu and asked if it was still under warranty. It was and I returned it. There were a few back and forth emails between me and the Tigersecu staff.

Their emails were prompt, friendly and helpful. I received a brand new unit with a follow up email within a few days of shipping the original one back. Unit works great. It's quite, easy to set up and compatible with my cameras.
